Welcome to my website!

I am an actor, writer, director, and podcaster,

and recent transplant from New York to LA!

I am wholeheartedly passionate about

uplifting the stories of women in

theatre and film.

My recent project, JULIET & ROMEO, which I adapted, produced,

and starred in, was restructured to focus on the

secret expressive lives of women within the patriarchal structure.

My podcast Feminist Popcorn, a celebration

and growing archive of the greatest

films about women,

is available on every major listening platform, and

rated five stars on Apple Podcasts.

Storytelling is the greatest passion of my life,

and I consider myself extraordinarily

privileged to be able to call it my career.

How do you top a perfect professional experience? The week I spent at The Ragdale Estate was one of the best I can remember. Imagine living on a picturesque estate, surrounded by nature, in a historic house, with a private chef, daily rehearsing a perfect classic play with the best, smartest, and kindest team of actors. I know, it sounds like a dream. And they paid me for it.

Thank you to my castma...

Closed a show last night in Brooklyn, packed a suitcase in the middle of the night, and got on a plane at 9am. It's been a bittersweet goodbye to this character and these cheeseballz, but onto the next! What up, Chicago?? Rehearsals start for The Cherry Orchard tomorrow.

It was one of the scariest/most stressful/BEST months of my life. All owed to these beautiful people: Directed by none other than Skylar Fox. Fights by Trevor Olds. Costumes by Casey Jones. Lighting by Kate McGee. Sound by Adam Wyron. Line Producer Jenny Gorelick. Stage Manager, my angel Lida Richardson.

If you missed it, I'm sorry. It was a fleeting a perfect fever dream of a play. But here is a g...

Exciting news! Following JULIET & ROMEO in August - and I mean *directly* after, like the day after we close, I will be flying to Chicago to begin rehearsals for the 2017 UV Theater Project/Ragdale Foundation residency production of THE CHERRY ORCHARD, an up-beat immersive production staged around the grounds of the Ragdale Estate. I will be playing ANYA! I am so excited to be a part of this compa...

I just received news that my adaptation of Romeo and Juliet has been chosen as a participant in this year's Shakespeare in the Theater Festival at The Brick in Williamsburg. I cannot be more excited! I've been advise with relative frequency lately to create my own work, so here goes. More info to come!

A bunch of exciting projects coming up this summer, but the first I’d like to bring to your attention is the reading of a brilliant new play by my dear friend Elisabeth Frankel, developed in collaboration with (and starring) a group of Middle School girls from East Harlem to whom she taught drama. I will be playing their teacher. It's a lovely and poetic play, accessible to children while also exp...
